Why Shame Doesn’t Work & Makes Us Sick
The ego is obsessed with shaming others.
Shame is the lowest form of human consciousness and the primary strategy of the ego.
To shame others is to first judge others harshly and then to establish oneself as superior to the one who has been judged.
It is the opposite of love, compassion and humility.
It is neither helpful nor spiritually orientated because it requires ongoing judgementalism, negativity and an immense amount of emotional and mental energy to keep it going.
To shame is to seek our power from the limitations of the ego and only results in weakening of our physiological and energy systems because it is not aligned with the natural laws of life force itself.
This can be easily demonstrated in a muscle (energy) test. To hold shameful feelings in one's mind will make one's muscles go weak, whereas holding loving feelings in one's mind will make the muscles go strong.
Therefore, shame actually harms the one who is "doing" and projecting shame rather than the one who is being shamed upon.
